It’s Nibbler Time!
In case you are a new reader of?Fauxology — whenever I post little snippets of news in one post, I call them Nibblers.? You ready?? Here we go!
1) I hope you caught our recent review of HakanWear.? Hakan himself has graciously extended a 15% discount on all orders and further stated that on the Classified section of Talk Faux, there are some overstock sizes that are selling for $59!
2) Speaking of?Talk Faux,?yours truly is now a published magazine writer.? I wrote about Talk Faux?in the nationally distributed The Faux Finisher.? [Did you like how I slipped that in: "nationally?distributed"?? Makes me sound big and important, no?? However, my siblings are already keeping my big head in check... 
]??Well, my nationally distributed self must thank editor Diane Capuano and also?Kathy Boyd for the idea and for?providing artists everywhere with two great sites: Talk Faux and Art Fusion.? Here’s a peek at the cover and first page of the article:

3) I saw in my stats that I had some click throughs from a blog called My Notting Hill.? Suprised, I went to check it out while thinking “How bad could it be?? Notting Hill is practically my favorite movie!”.??The writer, an interior design enthusiast,?had written a great post entitled Eglomise and included images from Melanie?Royals’ blog?Design Amour and links to our Garay Artisans company site.? Of course, I had to check out the rest of her blog (and?I hope you do, too!).??It’s gorgeous and it has a slew of new design links to check out — when am I going to sleep???The beauty that is the Internet never ends.? Have you done anything yourself on mirrors or glass? I have been hearing more of it lately and just called my local Faux Effects school to see if they are offering anything in terms of a class. I love Modellos…. and I have blank mirrors in my house to practice on. Just wondered if you have any experience with it.

Hi, Jennifer! Yes, we’ve definitely been working on both mirrors and glass. I’ll be posting on that soon with good pics.
