Wow!!!! That’s some nice work you put in there. Love the colors, they are so warm & inviting, which makes it so “Biltmore-ish”, well minus the wallpapers there. The before pix are so naked and bare. Good thing they are called before pictures. My favorites are the Ballroom, the Mirrors and the PreFunction room. Oh goodness….. faux makes wallpapering so passe!!

You know, Asheville will be a place to visit and stay at the Bohemian. Chad, are we flying or driving there?

Those mirrors were a labor of love — so glad I took Melanie Royals’ workshop to add to ye olde bag of tricks. I’m still giggling at comment No. 4 — but I know she’s serious!

Haven’t seen this kind of beauty since my travels to Eastern Europe, (as well as from my own personal faux finisher, of course!) Eastern Europe with its baroque beauty and aged soapstone is just delicious, and so is this visual tour of what can be.
