Thank you all for the great comments! Dean – I have not tried an allover glad bead covering, but I’ll have to look into it. We had a client use our finishes and Maya’s glass bead papers in the same room…stunning. The paper is unbelievable in person!

Ooooh I must try a Maya moment.
When I want a kickstart I look at my ‘Tim Walker photographs’ book. The pages have little to nothing to do with pattern or texture but usually makes me want to create something. Some films have a similar effect on me.

I really like her designs. Have you goofed around with the Proceed “Rough Glass Beads”? I’ve used them to simulate some of her looks.

Great background on Maya! The tie dye is amazing! She is always setting the standard for the industry.
